Official Guided Walking Tours
What better way to discover our beautiful city than on foot?
Our walking tours will take you to Oxford's most famous sites and hidden treasures in tucked-away lanes and passages. Your official Blue or Green badge guide will be delighted to answer any questions along the way.
We have a wonderful selection of tours. If this is your first visit to Oxford, may we suggest you start with an introductory tour of Oxford, The University and City tour. If you live locally or have visited Oxford before, you may already have reasonable knowledge of the university and student life; so we invite you to discover more about our fascinating city on one of our Themed Tours. There is a tour for everyone, from the Oxford Film Sites to Gardens; from William Morris to Magic, Murder and Mayhem; from Pottering in Harry’s footsteps to Oxford Children's stories...
A programme is available on our brochure page.
Tours are limited to a maximum of 19 people. Visitors in wheelchairs are welcome to join the tours but access to some colleges may be restricted. Children (5-16 years old) must be accompanied. Portable hearing loop available on request.
All the tours cover between 1 and 2 miles and last 2 hours except the Family tour, which is 1.5hours.
